One of the first snow falls of the year and where am I?  Leading a trial ride with one of my die-hard lesson students.  I keep telling them I will give trail rides and lessons for as long as they want them. And to my surprise some of them are still asking for them. Here I am with my 3 layers on the bottom and 5+ layers on top out in a snow shower.  It is all about the layers you know.  It was very peaceful.  One of my favorite sounds is to hear snow falling on the trees.  Apple and Cuervo seemed to enjoy themselves too. They had a spring to their step.
