We have kept Nash separated from Sunbun since he arrived at the farm; today we decided to put them out in the same pasture. After a quick squeal  and a paw, they decided to get to know each other. This is done by breathing in to each other’s nose. Dispite the fact that I was expecting Nash to be a bully the whole introduction was completely uneventful and made for some nice pictures.

Hump day ride

The weather was too nice not to go for a ride. Friends stopped by and I convinced her to get on Nash to experience his excellent running walk. Basically a very smooth trot. Even Brian got on Cuervo it was their first real ride, they did really well.

The boys had a fun filled day. We brushed the donkeys then took them for A walk. Then we brushed and cleaned cuervo. After that we rode around for a little. The day ended with playing with the goats and dogs.

Cuervo and Apple went out for a trial ride. It was a beautiful day for mid February. Apple was hyper and loved being out. Cuervo was Mr slow poke and acting like Eeore.

Behind the main barn is this mini barn.  George and Heather have 2 stalls on one side. The other side is a shelter for the pasture we seeded last fall.

The newest member of GSF. Today he hung out with everyone but Nash, the bully. He got along great with everyone, even the donkeys. He tried to help me clean the shed row. Then said hello to the goats. He is a very sweet boy and looks like he fits in well.
